Geekom is the latest company we’ve heard of that has come along with its two products: the oddly-named Bookfun laptop, a mobile workstation priced at $1,999 along an RTX3070, a Core i7-11800H, and Windows 11 Pro, and the more inconspicuous IT8 tiny Computer.
Geekom create a small workstation Computer that provides quality products at affordable prices in a very compact design; it arrives preloaded with Windows 11 Pro, has more than enough connectors, and thus can handle four displays. For such a price, it works incredibly but there are a couple of issues that we have to deal with. However, Geekom would not be able to emulate the business-grade after-sales service provided by several of the much larger competitors.
Design
The IT8 has a resemblance with Intel NUC small Computers that have been appeared in the past decades. IT8 At the size of117 x 112 x 48mm is the same if it has been compared with NUC 11 Performance Minicomputer.
Geekom’s mini PC feels like it is heavy though it ends up weighing only 600gm which is a surprising fact of this product. Because the top is composed of lustrous plastic, it is susceptible to oily fingerprints & tiny scratches.
