The initiative is likely to end the handheld gadgets and discontinue the iPod product line. It will eventually help change the format of the entertainment industry created twenty years ago.
According to Apple, it will keep selling leftover iPod Touch gadgets at the starting price of $199 per piece through its official website until supplies get finished. Apple device is available in varying models with 32 gigabytes, 128 gigabytes, and 256 gigabytes. The company offers iPods in six vibrant colors, including pink, blue, gold, and silver.
Greg Joswiak, the senior vice president of Apple Ltd. in Worldwide Marketing, released a statement. He said Apple has always considered music as a core part of the company. The way the iPod brought it to millions of users affected more than the music industry. It also reshaped how we can discover, listen to and share music.
