Overview
The ROG Delta S Wireless is an intriguing offering. The headset has a number of appealing features, including loud sound, excellent comfort, and the convenience of wireless and Bluetooth connectivity.
The headset also sounds very good with some tweaking. There are more than enough sound options here because it offers an incredible selection of configurations for playing games and other listening experiences.
Unfortunately, beamforming earphones don’t really compete with boom mics and solely devoted USB or XLR microphones, but they’re a convenient option if you need them.
Overall, this headset strikes a good balance of features, specifications, and comfort, and it’s well important to consider alongside the industry’s other top cordless choices.
Shape and Comfort
The ROG Delta S was praised for its solace, and the Delta S Wireless delivers in many ways. The Delta S Wireless weighs slightly more than its wired equivalents (18g more, if you’re curious), but it’s cleverly built to hold your ears and head happy.
To begin, the headset features D-shaped adjustable ear foam. These cushions are more inherently shaped to match up your ears and are large and deep enough to comfortably cover them. The box contains two different lots. A pair of 100% protein fabric ear cushions that block out a lot of noise, as well as the reasonably open mixed earcups.

These are also fabric outside but protein leather from the inside, allowing you to stay cool while blocking a comparatively tiny amount of environmental noise. They’re also simple to swap, with a small lip around the operator gripping the inside of the cushion. This means you can experiment with them and tailor them to your preferences.

Battery Life
Asus claims 25 hours of battery life, which is reasonable but not in the same league as the 300-hour life of the business HyperX Cloud Alpha Wireless. However, you can plug in for a quick charge, with just 15 minutes of juice creating three hours of extra battery life. That should suffice for most peak usage.
The controls are also appealing to us. There is a multi-function media button in addition to the volume wheel and connection switch. To play or pause a song, press it once, twice quickly to skip, and 3 times to backtrack. It doesn’t always seem to respond instantly, but it’s nice to have such comfortable controls within easily accessible.
Wireless
The Delta S wireless has 50mm drivers that are surprisingly loud. In fact, we discovered these to be ridiculously loud. So, if you like to put on a headset and both restrict and detonation out the world, these will do the trick.
This wireless headset does not provide high-resolution sound like the wired Delta S, but it does provide wireless 16bit/48kHz audio. It’s not as feature-rich as the Corsair Virtuoso XT, which has a larger sampling rate and 40KHz resonant frequency wirelessly, as well as a 96KHz sample rate when tucked in, but it’s still a great headphone with plenty of extra features via Armoury Crate.
