Microsoft Ireland announced today that over 6,000 people do take their 1st StepIn2Tech by enrolling in the digital training program initiated in cooperation with Fastrack to IT now over a year ago.
StepIn2Tech has been created by Windows Ireland in reply to the Covid-19 disease outbreak in an attempt to empower 10,000 students with digital skills trying to acquire in-demand employment in digitalization for more than two years. The action plan also helps those that have recently graduated high school or university, and also those who are in the midst of their career paths and want to improve one‘s digital skills.
After completing several of the StepIn2Tech starting pitcher classes, degree holders are invited to take part in the StepIn2Tech mentorship program, which would be delivered by Microsoft Ireland staff, to create the soft skills required to optimize employment for people. Microsoft Ireland staff members provide one-on-one guidance and advice on structured interviews and CV writing as part of a program. So far, over 400 students finished the mentorship program, with 84 Staff members volunteering to work nearly 3,000 hours approximately.
StepIn2Tech’s free educational spots are still accessible as the action plan enters its 2nd year.
