Design and Build
There are four colors in which the Amazfit GTS 4 is available, which are Autumn Brown, Rosebud Pink, Infinity Black and Misty White. The first one has a nylon strap, while the remaining three come with a 20mm silicone one. There is a quick release feature in all straps, so you can swap them whenever you feel like it.
When it comes to the feel and look of the watch, you will find that it appears to be a premium one in every aspect because of its stunning finish. The Amazfit GTS 4 weighs just 27 g, which makes it feather-light and you can wear it comfortably for extended periods of time. The watch boasts a 5 ATM water resistant rating and even though it looks delicate, it is still quite durable.
It boasts a clear and bright 1.73 inch AMOLED screen and does not pick up any fingerprints. There is no glare in the sun and the display remains clear under water. There is also a speaker and microphone, so you can take calls easily.
Software and features
The Amazfit GTS 4 has been primarily designed for fitness and health tracking, but it also has features that can come in handy outside of exercise. It runs on Zepp OS, which is Amazfit’sown software, but you cannot use third-party apps on it. However, it comes with plenty of staples, such as voice memos, a calendar and weather. There are also navigation apps available.
The watch offers you Alexa integration and notifications for certain apps like Messenger and WhatsApp can also be enabled.
Health and fitness tracking
The GTS 4 supports a huge range of workouts, as there are about 150 available, including cycling, walking, swimming, yoga and running. It also offers support for some rogue activities like tug-of-war, disco dancing, and chess. The Zepp app logs all health data that can be found on both Android and iOS.
The app gives you a breakdown of the route you took, your heart rate fluctuation, calories burnt and more. It comes with auto-detection for outdoor running, treadmill running, outdoor cycling, rowing machine, outdoor walking and more.
Battery Life
You will find that the Amazfit GTS 4 offers excellent battery life, as it can last for eight days with ‘typical usage’ while ‘heavy usage’ gives you four days of battery life. You can also enable the basic clock mode that will give you battery life of 28 days. It takes about 2 hours to charge it fully and there is a magnetic charger included.
