Pinterest has reportedly shifted all its attention to video content after it developed Idea Pins. The company now wants to modernize its tools designed for Pin formats in a single creation flow. Accordingly, users can now get video Pins & static pictures with editing features, such as overlay text stickers from a single updated experience.
The company also has rolled out a new series of exciting engagement features and handy tools for editing, safety, and measurement. It allows you to use the Create a Pin to create an image or video Pin moving forward. Pinterest says every content creator can add features like text overlay, stickers, and music to their Pins.
According to Pinterest, the new changes will help create, measure, edit, and publish their content. Besides Video Ads and Ideas Ads, advertisers can also generate Video Ads and Carousel Ads as they could do before. These changes will enable Pinterest users to access features such as links and post-publish editing previously available with Idea Pins or business account holders.
Content MonetizationÂ
Pinterest says users can use any Pin to link anywhere and monetize their content to engage their target audience. The company is ready to introduce another monetization medium through links in each Pin. It will let them include links to still pictures, videos, and Pinterest television live streams, enabling them to drive traffic and create healthy relationships with businesses. The UK and USA-based Users can also use affiliate links for product tagging or paid partnership tools as additional sources of revenue generation on Pinterest.
Pins Features and Community Engagement FeaturesÂ
Pinterest can use flexible aspect ratios or editing features to create Pins once it publishes the content. They will find video Pins with improved metrics, such as views & watch time. Users do not need to navigate through multimedia creations using images or visual clips after these changes as they can see this content type automatically played one after another.
Pinterest also rolled out a new feature, enabling all users to access many community features. You can add keywords you think should not appear in the comments. You can make a filter in social permission to activate the auto-hide option for all comments with specific keywords.
Moreover, the online image board will allow users to create and upload an image to respond to any content published on the social media platform. They can also benefit from expanded reactions, including heart emojis, to all Pins. The company will also make a fresh Pin-scheduling API available for creative tools and marketing platforms so that users can schedule Pins through those channels.
