The Technics Audio Connect app, which is available for both iOS and Android, handles the smart aspects of the EAH-AZ80. It supports three-way multi-point connections, which means three devices can be simultaneously connected.
You can also use the app for tweaking sound, as there are six default profiles and also a five-track custom option. Plus, you can also make adjustments to the intensity of ambient and noise cancellation modes.
The touch controls of the buds can also be fully customized, as the effect of one, two, three and even long taps can be changed independently for each bud. To put it simply, you can enjoy a lot of flexibility, thanks to the app. The buds also come with Amazon Alexa support.
The Verdict
Along with these features, the battery life of the EAH-AZ80 is also another plus, as they can last for seven hours on one charge. This makes them an excellent option for people who are more concerned about the way their buds sound rather than the brand name.
