This pricing puts it in the middle ground of pricing for gaming and premium chairs. Even though the C7 has office in its name and its looks are designed for same, it can give gaming chairs and other higher-priced options a run for their money in terms of value and performance both.
Design and Features
You can get the C7 in all black, or a black one with grey backing. The materials include plastic, a fabric mesh backing and a fabric seat, which are designed to be breathable. While it is not a flashy chair in any way, the modest style ensures that it works in every setting. But, you have to remember that it is not the most luxurious chair out there because it has not opted for leather, or other smooth materials for fabric covering.
Nonetheless, you cannot deny that it has an excellent build quality. The C7 is a dream come true of customizers because it comes with adjustable armrests, seat depth, seat height and angles. The lumbar support cushion on the C7 is one of the most adjustable ones you will come across, which is quite impressive because many chairs fail in this category. There are various options available, so you will not have any difficulty in finding the one you are most comfortable with. The chair also reclines, but there is no footrest given.
Performance
The wheels of the C7 are well-lubricated and they roll easily on the floor. There is no locking mechanism given for the wheels, but this is not surprising for this type of chair. The seat cushion can be raised from 19.3 to 22.6 inches, while a 2.4 inch adjustment can be made to the seat depth. Likewise, it can recline from 90 to 128 degrees. The weight capacity of the C7 is around 320 pounds and combined with its adjustments, it shows that the chair is capable of accommodating a wide range of body sizes and types.
The arms can be raised up and down and you can also slide the armrests back and forth and even rotate them right and left. There are locks given on the arms to stop them from moving further, but the armrests do not come with any locks. There are three different lockable positions for you to adjust the backrest. This ensures that you can get the solid lumbar support you are looking for and do not have any back problems later.
Assembly
The 54.8 pound box of the C7 is bulky and each part is properly wrapped and protected. There are a total of eight groups of parts that you have to assemble. The assembly process is not too complicated and you can follow it easily.
The Verdict
The FlexiSpot C7 is a great chair and offers quite a lot of comfort for the price. Even in conservative office environments, it does not look out of place.
