The Logitech Signature Slim K950 is the latest endeavor from Logitech to offer a low cost functional wireless office keyboard. It is an excellent option for anyone looking for a reliable keyboard for office tasks.
Design
The design of the Signature Slim K950 has taken a lot of cues from the Swiss brand’s MX line of keyboards, which is more premium. It provides a completely plastic and single-color grey chassis that feels quite sturdy and looks excellent. You can find it in white, if you want something more modern. For day-to-day usage, the keyboard holds firm and is quite well-built. It is also very slim, as evident from the name. You will also find a full complement of keys, which include some convenient touches, such as a navigation cluster and a number pad.
There are also some thoughtful and small touches evident on the Signature Slim K950, which include a variety of function keys for voice dictation, accessing a snipping tool and for muting a mic. There are also dual-printed function keys for both Mac and Windows use. The office-based keyboard is also sloped naturally, with a bar placed on the back of the keyboard for providing a more comfortable typing angle. The underside also has retractable feet that raise the keyboard even higher at a steeper angle.
The battery compartment can be found on the bar on the rear and it also has the storage or the USB receiver. There is no plastic involved in its packaging, as the Signature Slim K950 comes in a cardboard box.
Performance
Instead of the mechanical approach, the Signature Slim K950 comes with scissor-actuated membrane keys. Membrane keys offer a familiar typing experience to those who use a laptop on a day-to-day basis. They have a comfortable and snappy actuation and they are excellent for handling the productivity workloads they are developed for.
As far as connectivity is concerned, the Signature Slim K950 works across both the Logi Bolt USB receiver and Bluetooth and can work on about three devices. It is easy to pair it with Bluetooth, thanks to the specific function keys provided. The scope of compatible devices is increased thanks to the Logi Bolt receiver. You can use it with Windows, Mac, ChromeOS and Linux.
Since there is no backlighting, the Signature Slim K950 offers excellent battery life. It uses a pair of AA batteries that can give about 36 months of runtime.
Software
The Options+ software suite works with the Signature Slim K950. This can provide an excellent boost to productivity without a lot of effort. The software is slick and easy to use and also offers convenient features, such as Smart Actions. These are productivity-focused and can be used for performing a range of functions. You can program them easily and a range of presets are offered, or you also have the option of creating your own.

The Signature Slim K950 is a great office keyboard that comes with a thoughtful design and has a number of useful secondary functions, along with a full-size layout.
