Earfun Free Pro 3 are an affordable true wireless pair of earphones that have a rather envious set of specifications, along with strong noise-cancelling. The Chinese brand has continued to add as many features as possible to its earphones.
Design
There are numerous true wireless earphones that Earfun has introduced, which often makes it difficult to distinguish them. However, the Free Pro series comes with a different design from the Air Pro models. Rather than the stem, they have an in-ear design where wing tips, or ear hooks keep them in. The good thing about the wing tips is the earbuds stay rooted in your ear.
The overall design is discreet and small and they are also very comfortable even when you wear them for long periods. They come with touch controls and they respond well to holds and presses without any lags. Since the charging case is slim, you will have no trouble carting the earphones with you. You can choose from navy blue, silver white and plain black options.
Features
Similar to the other true wireless earphones from Earfun, the Free Pro 3 are loaded with features. The buds come with Bluetooth support, including support for aptX Adaptive codec. It is also possible to connect the buds with several devices simultaneously, thanks to Bluetooth multi-point. You can get a battery life of 7.5 hours from a single charge, while you can get 33 hours from the charging case. These figures are applicable when ANC is turned off.
If you turn on ANC, then the battery life drops to 6 hours and the case gives you 27 hours. You can use wireless and fast charging. The call performance is not that impressive, as it often gets muffled. You cannot make crystal clear calls, but that is not very surprising due to the price.
The Free Pro 3 boast hybrid active noise-cancellation and this is undoubtedly impressive. The noise-cancellation is quite strong, considering the price. The Transparency mode is quite effective in increasing awareness levels. You will also find a game boost mode that reduces latency and syncs well with gaming and video performance.
You will also find a bunch of features within the app. You can change the noise-cancelling modes, activate the Bluetooth multipoint, enable game mode, customize the controls and sounds, find the buds and carry out firmware updates.
Sound Quality
The sound you get from the Free Pro 3 is more open as compared to the Air Pro models. They have a more naturally resolved midrange and the sound comes with greater detail. You do not have to worry about a lack of definition here. You will enjoy the brighter and clearer treble and the low-end also comes with more firmness and depth.
The sound comes off much better than the frequency range. The bass is also quite rich and the sound also has a warmness that you will find appealing. The Earfun buds are able to offer more insight and nuance than many others in the same price range.

Earfun is outdoing well-known and bigger brands with the specs of its headphones and the Free Pro 3 are no different.
