Is it surprising that Nokia has eventually published its only tough handset? No, it’s not. HMD Global, who now controls the Nokia trademark, awoke to the possibilities of that modest but flourishing outlet mall, decades following Samsung including its Galaxy Activity series, and therefore only just a few days after the reintroduction of the Motorola Defy line. The XR20 seems to be the finished result, a Qualcomm motorized, 5 g technology, extremely durable, and moisture control cellphone that wants to be something more than a durable gadget.

Currently being used
The XR20’s device features a large Android 1 branding when users turn it on. And there is more: Nokia would give quarterly security improvements for three or more years, which is the most extensive repair plan we’ve seen for touch devices. It’s in addition to the monthly OS updates promised by Android One. As a result, Android 14 would be the final version to work on the XR20, which is expected to arrive in 2023.
Anticipate a little short of miraculous in terms of raw performance, however, we did observe that our web testing generated the best results amongst some of the 5G tough phones to date, surpassing only the most popular Dimension 800 handsets.
