Sooner or later, allow Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 Alan Walker Special Edition to take its place. It’s an official remake of the 2nd gen of a fantastic notebook. Including its small 14th inches size, excellent AMD processor, and decent gaming prowess, the initial Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 became somewhat of a category breaker whenever it was released the year before.
This efficient 2nd gen Special Edition feature keeps the core concept but offers an interesting spin: cooperation with Alan Walker, the famous DJ, and artist. Walker presently has the nineteenth highest viewed video online, including over a billion views and more than 10 billion account views as researchers write these lines. It’s not awful.
Walker has teamed up with Asus to build a replica of the product which blends music and gameplay. The G14’s fundamental appearance is retained, including the unique Anime Grid customizable LED element on the back of the screen. However, minor adjustments such as a switch to glossy gray, textile inlays, and wireless keyboard hues provide a unique new layout.
The treats in the package, rather than the notebook itself, could be what distinguishes this edition of the device besides its brothers. And, more accurately, the package thing. It’s true. The gadget also functions as a synthesizer or editing board. It attaches to the notebook through Type – c and communicates with the laptop through a mobile platform.

It is debatable whether it performs well enough in terms of musical copywriting. It’s a nice touch that contributes to the impression that this is a unique laptop instead of a spec-driven, box-ticking machine. And that’s pretty much a given, considering the specifications is mildly frustrating in at most one aspect. The AMD Ryzen 9 5900HS Processor, which is hugely potent, is one of the attractions. The 14 inches IPS panel with 2,560 by 1,440 pixels is also a 120Hz beauty and has a wonderful ratio between quality and speed.
If it were combined with a higher capable Graphics, it’ll at a minimum achieve that equilibrium beautifully. Although the frame supports upwards towards the RTX 3060 in regular variants, Asus has chosen an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050 Ti with this special version G14. That’s a shame since the 3050 Ti isn’t qualified to drive the screen at innate firmness at acceptable frames per second, except for the 120Hz frame rate. At 1080p, titles still look very good-adjusted. However, an RTX 3060 could significantly improve the overall product.
In spite of that, this is a lovely tiny notebook with excellent design and construct craftsmanship, as well as long-lasting battery performance (almost 8 hrs in PCMark ten). Yeah, and the embedded audio produces excellent audio. It has a dramatic amount and variety that matches Apple’s MacBooks, which has a real subwoofer, albeit not as many as Apple’s MacBooks. Just little extra oomph might be welcome.
Availability and Cost
As of such a straight processing and gameplay standpoint, the Alan Walker special edition of the Asus ROG Zephyrus costs $1,999 (£1,750, approximately AU$2,650).
One might get a regular G14 featuring 32Gigabytes and also an RTX 3060 Graphics for the very same price. And thereafter you might not have the unusual design, the blending container, and all other interesting features. By standard criteria, this isn’t a superior value offering. Layout
