WhatsApp, which is owned by Meta, is currently developing a Group Membership Acceptance feature. The feature, as the name implies, will allow group users to control and approve joining user requests sent by WhatsApp. While it may take some time for the feature to reach all users, this should be helpful for the WhatsApp admin team, particularly those in smaller groups.

The Group Membership Authorization feature for Android has been spotted by WABetaInfo. According to the report, the group admin will be able to disable the function as they see fit. The characteristic will also include a new category of group information that will be accessible only to administrators. This section will include controls for viewing and managing group join requests sent via group requests.
It is worth noting that the Group Identity Approval follows WhatsApp’s recent increase in the total number of visitors that can be decided to add to a collective to 512. When the feature is released, it will be accessible on both Android & apple.
Users of WhatsApp might be able to edit their messages
WhatsApp recently introduced the message reaction feature, which allows us to send emoji reactions to messages. While the feature has been spotted on WhatsApp for Mobile, the framework will also release a similar option on iOS and computers.
