Samsung has begun bringing the Camera Assistant app to more devices. A moderator wrote on the South Korean community forum revealing the availability of the app for Samsung Galaxy phones in the coming days. The company is in the mood to make the Camera Assistant available for as many galaxy devices as possible and announce the app’s development plan.
Camera Assistant App Launch
Samsung launched its Camera Assistant app in October 2022, making it available for the Galaxy S22 series. It works like a module for the tech giant’s Good Lock app, which lets you customize the settings of your mobile camera at a deeper level than the stock camera app.
Samsung Camera Assistant App provides you with much more improved control over your mobile camera’s settings than the stock camera app. While many users have requested Samsung to make the app available for other devices, it is yet accessible for the Galaxy series.
Samsung seems to have considered the feedback, but it still hasn’t revealed a list of devices where the Camera Assistant app will be available. It hasn’t said anything about the launch timeline.
Samsung Updates the Camera Assistant AppÂ
The South Korean company rolled out some updates to the Camera Assistant app in November this year. Enabled by the Android 13’s icon feature, the updated app can adapt to the color of your phone’s wallpaper.
The Good Lock app suit of Samsung received a new updated feature for the Camera Assistant module. The updated version of the app has brought a dynamic app icon, which is compatible with Samsung’s Material You. It lets the primary color of the Camera Assistant icon adapt to the wallpapers of the Samsung Galaxy smartphone.
The Camera Assistant version 1.0.00.5 is accessible through the Galaxy Store. It allows you to search for the updated version on the Galaxy Store on your Samsung device. You can also open the Good Lock Suite, click the three-dotted button beside the Camera Assistant App, and choose Go to Store. It will let you download and then update the app to its latest version.
However, not every country in the world has Samsung’s Good Lock app, and the company needs to modify its approach to the availability of these handy apps. Users living in regions that do not have access to the Good Lock app cannot download the Camera Assistant app on their Galaxy phones.
You can download the app’s APK file from a safe source and install the app on your Galaxy device.
Samsung Camera Assistant has numerous cutting-edge settings for the Stock Camera app. It allows you to activate and deactivate Auto HDR, record a video in Photo mode, and boost the shutter speed.
You can also force the mobile camera to capture pictures with a particular lens and customize the number of images to be taken in Timer mode. Camera Assistant App lets you use a clean viewfinder mode on an HDMI-connected display.
Apart from updating the Camera Assistant App, Samsung released the updated version of the Expert RAW app. The updated app enables users to click bright pictures of dark skies, stars, and constellations.
