The Shop – a Shopify app has received Shop Cash, a new rewards program. The e-commerce platform rolled out a new program, letting you earn a one-percent on the purchases made through its Shop Pay checkout service.

Shopify says its Shop Cash will be available on all Shop Pay purchases from U.S.-based shoppers and merchants. Shopify plans to host an Inaugural Shop Day for the launch and give away more than one million U.S. dollars through the rewards program.
The company has partnered with some merchants, such as Monday Swimwear and MrBeast, to share custom links with fans on their social channels. You can click these links and spend in the Shop app to redeem these awards.
How Shop Cash Reward Program WorksÂ
Shopify allows you to compensate your Shop Cash up to thirty days after you claim it. According to the company, it is a memorable moment for its incredible Shop app that lets you discover great brands, benefit from real-time tracking, and one-tap easy checkout.
Shopify’s President, Harley Finkelstein, says the Shop Cash rewards program is a revolutionary evolution of the app that will connect independent businesses to more customers and reward them for being loyal fans.
In 2020, the eCommerce company rolled out the Shop app. It is an updated and rebranded version of the app called Arrive, aiming to track packages. While the Shop app comprises the same package tracking capabilities, it also lets consumers navigate through recommended products, learn more about brands and shop on Shop Pay.
According to the company, thirty-five percent of all orders on the app are reoccurring purchases on which Shop Pay can lift as much as fifty percent conversions for loyal users. Shopify launched the Shop Cash program a few after it partnered with Melio – an Israeli B2B payment startup, to introduce a bill pay tool. The said financial tool aimed to enable U.S based merchants and customers to manage their vendors and expenses through Shopify’s platform.
Shopify’s Direct Bill Payments
Shruti Patel looks after global merchant services as a head of Shopify’s partnership and monetization. She says the professional association between Shopify and Melio resulted in the launch of a bill pay platform. It allowed the e-commerce company to overlap the connection of trade and fintech.
The basis of the new feature strengthens the idea that if traders can perform tedious tasks in less time, they can also spend time growing their businesses. Ms. Patel says the company continues to be on the fintech journey since it launched Stripe-powered payments. It gave Shopify considerable insight into its payment data.
The e-commerce enterprise unveiled Shopify Capital to meet its traders’ micro and macro lending requirements in 2016. It also rolled out Shopify Balance – a money management-like tool in 2022. Shopify worked globally to add the bill pay feature to its prevailing product while its merchant customers continued with their businesses.
